Don't expect any ballet or a message from Vatican.

The work of Armenian siblings Arutyuanyan, the founding members of the legendary Armenian-Russian band Deti Picasso, rests on the edge between psychadelic rock, dance punk, freak pop and performance.

Gaya and Karen always try new limits of their creativity and the possibilities of playing as a duo. Raw rock riffs, soul importance and funky disco beats with Caucasian tuning multiply the energy of their performance. Their projects are praised for their influence on Armenian and Russian independent rock scene. They collaborated with many great musicians like Alex Hacke (Einsturzende Neubauten), Bobby McFerrino or Tony Levine and they supported Depeche Mode, Massive Attack and The Verve.
